2. Phnom Bros Phnom Srey
Located in Kro la commune, Kampong Siem district about seven kilometers from the provincial town. Its official name is “Wat Sovan Kiri Rotanak Phnom Bros” it’s 1000 meters to the north and if you seek for it, there’s another mountain which is called “Phnom Srey”. Phnom Bros has approximate 30-metre height and it can reach by road to the top. Offering a beautiful scene and relax atmosphere at the top of the mountain. Besides this, walking to the top of the Phnom Srey by 308 stair steps, there is a ruined temple with a few nuns who stay to collect contribution to rebuilding the temple. Take a look at this ancient palace of king’s residence which is visited by travelers all over the world. It is considered as one of the most important tourist attractions in Kampong Cham. It was the home of the king that ruled Cambodia for a long time and this building was used by the local people so that they can come and meet the king. 7. Koh Pen
Koh Pen was known as a paradise island which is well-known for local tourists. Along the way to this place, you can buy fresh local fruits such as bananas, mangoes or jackfruits. You will absolutely enjoy this natural view and it is worth to visit. 8. French Lookout Tower
This building is still standing strong besides it was built a few decade ago. You will notice this French Lookout Tower whenever you across Kizuna Bridge. This building was built in the purpose to monitor Mekong River traffic. You are free to climb this building yet you have to be careful since stairs are too high and they are not too big. After you reach the top of this tower, you will amaze by an amazing view all over the Mekong River and daily life of local villagers using this river to fulfill their crops.
